Decorating your house for Valentine’s Day with vintage decor is a great way to decorate for the winter! I love all the color associated with Valentine’s Day and I can reuse a lot of my Christmas decor for it too.
Vintage Valentines Cards
The easiest way to decorate for Valentine’s Day is to use vintage Valentine’s Day cards. They are SO adorable and there are even Disney cards which I recently purchased from a vintage seller online.

Purple, pink, and red shelf
I display a lot of Valentines on my pastel purple shelf that I bought at a thrift store. I love using a ribbon and hanging cards and paper heart doilies on it. I found a vintage Valentine’s Day planter which is the absolute cutest thing.
Decorating a Christmas Tinsel Tree for Valentine’s Day
A really easy way to decorate for Valentine’s Day is to decorate a Christmas tree with red and pink! I bought a vintage-inspired tinsel tree and I love putting my pink and red Shiny Brite Christmas ornaments on it. I also include vintage Valentine’s in the tree which is a great way to display them!
Valentine’s Day Fireplace and Coffee Table Styling
I used a lot of red mushrooms in my decor and put out my red anthropomorphic flowers on the coffee table.
I decorated with a bunch of my Christmas putz houses on the fireplace to make a festive red and pink village.
Vintage Gallery Wall Display
The gallery wall has a lot of vintage magazines depicting love or the magazines just have cute colors. I have vintage children’s books and a book on how to grow roses. I also made a garland of vintage snoopy playing cards that work great in the space.
Retro DIY Candles
I made these paper candles that I have on my retro Christmas crafts blog post and I use the pink and red ones for Valentine’s Day.
