Winter is here, so it’s time for a bucket list and vintage activity list to get us through the cold months! When snow is flying (if you live in that type of climate) it can be really dark and sad. Making a list of activities that you would like to do in the winter really helps!

Vintage things to do in winter

The time that we all need something to do is definitely in the winter. One of my favorite things to do is complete a couple of crafts or sewing projects, like making a quilt.

Last year I learned how to make daisy granny squares to make a scarf. I wore it to the ice skating ribbon in Chicago, ice skating is a perfect winter bucket list item!

Seasonal bucket lists

I have a fall bucket list and I’m working on making them for all four seasons.

Seasonal bucket lists are so fun to create and make planning the weekend or date night a lot easier. In the winter it’s really easy to hibernate and sleep the dreary months away, but there’s so many wonderful things we can get out and do!

How do you use the bucket list?

I leave the list blank so you can write in whatever you want and the activity list is a helping hand. You can cut up the activity list and glue/tape the activities into your bucket list. Feel free to add items that are specific to you and not vintage-related, like decluttering your home.

While you’re decluttering, before you donate old items, see if you have a valuable vintage item and find out how much it is worth.

My winter bucket list

Here are some of the activities that will be going on my bucket list.

  • Candle making

  • Sledding

  • Making a retro Christmas craft for next year

  • Crocheting

  • Decluttering and reorganizing using the KonMari method

  • Indoor roller skating

  • Go for a winter hike

  • Decorate for winter

Do I have to fill out the whole list?

Don’t feel pressured to fill out the entire list or complete everything on your list. Whatever I don’t complete I’ll just roll over into next year!

Have a wonderful winter and I hope you find this activity list inspirational! Now get out there and go on an adventure. For more ideas check out these blog posts:
