Groovy Ghost The Easiest DIY Vintage Halloween Costume Ever

Let’s create the easiest Halloween costume ever, a groovy ghost. The ghost trend has been going around for a few years but instead of using a white sheet you use a flower power 1970s vintage floral sheet. This DIY is such an easy Halloween costume for men, women, teens, kids, couples and a group. It’s great for trick or treating, a costume party or a fall photoshoot idea.
Supplies
Optional: Trick or treat pail or other prop
That’s all you need for this costume! The biggest thing you need is a groovy vintage sheet. You can purchase a vintage sheet on eBay or a vintage sheet on Etsy and have it delivered to your house. Otherwise you can read my blog post on Where to Buy Vintage Sheets.
You won’t be able to see out of the sheet but if it’s just for a photoshoot it’s not a big deal. If you’re looking to wear it as a costume trick or treating or to a Halloween party, consider cutting eye and mouth holes out of the sheet. You’ll need a sharp pair of scissors to cut holes in fabric or you can buy fabric sheers that cut fabric like butter.

You can use any pair of sunglasses but I like using my vintage inspired 1960s pair. Adding a cute prop like a vintage Halloween pumpkin pail makes the costume even more special.
