Come To My Vintage Yard Sale In Holland, Michigan

Here are all the details for the Emily Retro vintage yard sale in Holland, MI this summer!
Dates and times of the yard sale
The yard sale will be held on two days, Friday, July 28th, and Saturday, July 29th from 9AM-Noon.
If you want to make a weekend of it, on Sunday, July 30th you can go to the Allegan Flea Market which I go to every month in the summer. It’s the best flea market around and I specifically chose these dates for my yard sale so you can come to the flea market too!
Rain Date?
In the event of rain, the yard sale will be held two weeks later, August 11th and 12th 9AM-2PM.
What will the yard sale be like?
Not only will I be selling TONS and TONS of vintage items but so will 2 other vintage sellers as well. My Mom has an antique booth and has collected many antiques and vintage goodies over the years, she will be selling items here. My friend Allie has also sold items at flea markets previously, she has great taste, and will be selling at the yard sale as well. Bonus points for my sister-in-law who isn’t a vintage seller but she’ll be here with home decor items too :)
What will be for sale?
I can’t speak for the other sellers, but as for me I’ll have tons of vintage home decor, ephemera like old magazines, craft supplies, fabric, clothing, and some furniture. Will you be selling items online?
At this time, no. If I have some items left over after the yard sale I may choose to sell them online. Please do not ask me to sell specific items to you or hold items, that’s not fair to other shoppers.
What’s the address?
For my privacy, the only way you can get my address is to message me directly on my Instagram. You must have an Instagram account to do this. I reserve the choice to not give you my address if I choose to do so.
If I give you my address please DO NOT give it to anyone else that messages you, please respect my privacy and don’t give it away to anyone else. If someone asks, tell them to message me.
Parking situation
I live on a main road so there is no street parking. I do however have a weird side road next to my house (That is not on Google Maps) where you can park on the side in the grass. If you can help it, please carpool with friends and family to save on the number of parking spaces. There will be signs for where to park, you can’t park in my driveway because it will be full of stuff for sale. Once you park on the access road, it’s a short walk through my yard to my driveway.

Know before you go
Is haggling okay? Absolutely, I have no problem with haggling. I probably won’t haggle a ton the first few hours on Friday but later in the day and on Saturday I’ll be totally cool with haggling! During the last hour on Saturday, I’ll be desperate to get rid of stuff so there will be deals galore.
If you think you’ll buy a lot, bring your own bags or boxes if you can. I don’t have a ton because I use reusable bags myself but I am trying to save up the few bags that I have.
Will I accept trades? I’m very selective about the items I’m bringing into my life now, but if you happen to have a vintage item that is on my 2022 wish list or 2023 wishlist I would love to trade! If you think I might like something, send me a pic of it on Instagram and we can chat.
What else is there to do in the area?
As I said above, you can come to the Allegan Antique Market which will be the next day. But on Friday and Saturday, I would highly encourage you to go thrifting and antiquing. We have the BEST thrift stores and antique stores in Holland if I do say so myself. Not to mention Holland is a popular Lake Michigan beach town that has the cutest downtown ever.
