Let’s tour my renovated vintage inspired bathroom with mint green beadboard in my 1960s home!
Vintage Inspired Bathroom
My vintage inspired bathroom was made almost completely from scratch after a remodel. Let’s take a look at the before photos!
1960s Pink Bathroom Before Photos
I have a huge regret about not keeping my original 1960s cast iron bathtub. Learn from my mistakes! Either keep your original fixtures or donate them to a vintage reclaim/salvage shop. They will appreciate it!
If you want to see a video tour and also hear my explanation of why I got rid of my 60s bathroom fixtures, watch below.
Mint Green Beadboard
The beadboard isn’t original I added it with my Dad’s help. I love the mint green paint color it’s absolutely beautiful and really pops against the white walls I painted.
We installed a little shelf on top of the beadboard using two pieces of wood so that I could put little vintage trinkets on display. I highly recommend doing that, it’s my favorite detail in my bathroom!
Repainting The Bathroom Vanity
The bathroom vanity is original and was painted white to go with the white/gray hexagon linoleum flooring I put down. The vanity has great storage and is so big I decided to put in two sinks instead of one which was a big plus!
Garage sale mirrors
The two wood mirrors were found for $25 each at a yard sale. They lean on the beadboard shelf and fit so well in the room. I have a set of vintage floral towels in my bathroom on display that I love!
Vintage Bathroom Decor
I have a vintage glass lazy susan that I use as storage on my bathroom counter. I also have a cute vintage bathtub ashtray with a naked lady that I adore. Other cute items on display:
