Planning fall activities makes life worth living. Autumn is such a special time of year so let’s create a vintage antumn bucket list to make sure we make time for some vintage activities! I have a list filled with retro things to do for yourself, couples, friends and family. I can’t wait to go apple picking and work on some fall crafts this September and October!
Vintage Things to do in the Fall
I wanted to do a vintage twist on the traditional autumn activity list. I wrote as many things down as I could think of. Then I asked my followers on my Instagram for their favorite vintage inspired things to do in the fall. I got SO many ideas and I compiled them all into a master list! You can print off the list and cut them up and glue them on the bucket list or you can write in everything and use the list for inspiration.
Why Make a List for Fall?
I’ve been making seasonal bucket lists for the past two years now. I love to list traditions that I love to do every season and then a few new things to try.
Activity lists are great if you have kids and want to prioritize making traditions with your family. If you’re married or in a relationship so you can always have date ideas when a weekend comes up. Or it’s a great way to get out if you’re single and it gives you something to look forward to! If you’re not sure what to do on the weekend you can quickly look at your list and have plenty ideas.
How Does the Bucket List Work?
The list is blank so you can add whatever you want and personalize it for you. It doesn’t have to be vintage activities either, you can add regular ones too like going to Aldi for their fall candles and shopping at Target. I feel so fulfilled whenever I cross something off my list.
I explain the list in depth on my YouTube video and you can come along with me to get pumpkins and candles at Target. This video will help you get in the mood for fall!
My Autumn Bucket List
Here’s a photo of my fall bucket list! These are some of the items I’m most excited about…
Camping (My very first time!)
Making fall crafts - I have a list of Halloween and fall crafts to inspire you
Buying pumpkins
Composting the pumpkins after Thanksgiving
Listening to vintage Halloween records
Trying a new vintage Halloween or fall recipe
Shopping for fall at Aldi
Buying fall candles at Target
Watch Hocus Pocus and other fall movies
Decorate my Halloween tree
Listen to the new The 1975 album
Do You Have to Fill Out the Whole List?
Definitely not! I like to fill it all out so I have an abundance of ideas and then I never complete them all. Whatever I don’t complete I’ll roll over into next year or into another season. For instance, I want to try candlemaking but I have so many fall activites planned that I might end up rolling that into winter. I’m always bored in February anyway!
I hope you have a blast deciding on autumn activities and get out there to do them! If you’d like some more fall inspiration you can check out the fall and Halloween section of my blog.
