I always keep a running list of vintage items that I’m looking for. I keep it on my phone and read the list before heading into a flea market or thrift shop. Here’s what’s currently on my list:
Chalkware Mermaids
I’ve seen these on Instagram and I adore them!. They can be very expensive so I’m keeping my eye out for a cheap set for my bathroom. You can find Chalkware mermaids on Etsy here.
Go go Boots
I look at the shoe section at every thrift store in hopes of finding these! I have the perfect vintage 1960s dress that’s waiting for some matching white go gos!
UPDATE: I ended up buying these white go go boots at Target.
Flower Power Glider
I love 70’s floral patio sets. Finding a glider would be a dream come true.
Retro Umbrella
I’m hoping for an old umbrella that looks like it’s from Palm Springs. Whether it’s got flowers, fringe or stripes… I want one!
Paper Mache Jack-O-Lantern
I love these creepy crafty pumpkins! They are SOOO expensive but I’m hoping to find one someday. Or maybe I’ll make my own if I get desperate.
Halloween Blow Mold
Someday I’ll find the Dracula and witch blow molds for my collection. Someday!
Pastel Radio
I have some pastel phones and cameras but I’d love to find a radio. A few of my Instagram friends have bought plain radios and painted them fun colors, I might try that if I can’t find one.
Recent Wish List Finds
I’ve shared some of my recent wish list finds on my Instagram and here’s a roundup:
Daisy Afghan
I love the granny chic style and this afghan embodies that perfectly! My Mom found it for me at Goodwill for $4. You can find your own daisy afghan on Ebay here.
Blendo Glassware Set
I’ve wanted these for ages and I found this giant set on Facebook marketplace for $35. There’s all different types of Blendo products that you can check out here.
Vintage Flour and Sugar Canister Set
I love the colorful canister sets from the 50s. I found this particular set at a garage sale while on a road trip to NYC this past May. While searching on Ebay I found out that they are Lustroware cannister sets.
Granny Square Blanket
I found a granny square blanket AND a granny square sweater at the same estate sale. You can see them folded up on the left side of the photo below.
