It’s time for the retro Christmas living room tour! There are plenty of vintage flea market, estate sale, and thrift store finds in my holiday decor this year. I hope you get some decorating ideas for when you decorate this Christmas.
Christmas pie safe
My pie safe is always a treat to decorate for the holidays because I get to display thrifted Christmas tea cups on the hooks in the middle shelf. I have a bunch of my “new” upcycled holiday tins on display that you can make yourself using this Christmas craft tutorial.

Kitsch fireplace mantel decor
My favorite time of year to decorate my electric fireplace is Christmas because I love hanging my thrifted stockings on the tree, including my cats love Christmas too stocking. I incorporated pink into my Christmas decor this year and used pink gooseberry Pyrex as a stand for some of my vintage blow molds.

Retro Christmas gallery wall
The gallery wall has a garland made with mini clothespins, bakers twine, retro Santa napkins, and vintage Christmas coasters. I also display a lot of my Christmas records and vintage gift boxes too. To carry the pink throughout the living room I added a pink chenille bedspread on the back of the sofa. I have a bunch of retro Christmas pillows that I love placing on my couch and on my cushy armchairs.
You can have a better look at this display on my Christmas gallery wall post.
Christmas coffee table decorating ideas
I always decorate my coffee table last with my special heirloom vintage ornaments from my Oma and Opa (Dutch for Grandma and Grandpa). I put them in a vintage holly dish to shine. I made the little snow globe using an Aldi jelly jar and a tiny Santa I found at a thrift store.

Christmas putz village shelf styling
I’m obsessed with vintage putz houses so I decorated my entire green shelf with them! You can read all the details on my putz village shelf post.

Record player & pink desk
I love listening to Christmas records this time of year so I made a place for my record player to sit on. On the pink desk, I put my flea market snowman blow mold and a thrift store candelabra.
My record player is the best, I’ve had it for years and it’s super affordable. I love it so much it’s on the list of my favorite things.
The vintage Christmas tree
Of course, the living room isn’t complete without a Christmas tree! The tree isn’t vintage, it’s from Target a few years ago, but all the ornaments are vintage! I’ve made quite a few of the ornaments myself and the rest are either from my family or from the thrift store.
