This Christmas DIY project is the BEST because it’s also an upcycle project! You save toilet paper and paper towel rolls to make into these kitschy decorations. I did this craft last year and I’m planning on doing this again with Halloween candles.
DIY vintage putz houses
A Beautiful Mess has an easy putz house tutorial and it’s another upcycle project! You make the houses out of cardboard cereal boxes. I made a ton of retro putz houses last year and found some patterns online for them.

I created a toadstool ornament garland for my spring garden mantel but it would be great for Christmas too! I used ornaments that I found at IKEA and Target has the cutest plush ornaments every year. You can easily make a garland with whatever plush ornaments you like.
